Late Night Party in Seminyak, Bali

Classy and cool, Seminyak is the best place to go out in Bali! Recently, this town has attracted more and more tourists and not just for the boutique shopping; Celebrities, international DJs and their followers come here to party every week! Want to find out what all the hype is about? Here’s my guide to help you experience the best of Seminyak nightlife

Mantra was designed and is owned by a Balinese couple. Tea light candles, colourful flowers in jars and a generally very friendly vibe, the outside patio becomes more inviting the later the night gets and depending on what’s on and how big the crowd, the tables might get shoved aside to create a dance floor! Mantra has many international DJs playing every night and to find out what’s on, simply pop in for a daytime drink or snack.

Hu’u Bar

Over the past 11 years, Hu’u Bar has become more and more busy with tourists and locals and last year Paris Hilton attended one of their events! The best way to experience Hu’u is to dance till the early hours!

If you like loud music and a lively atmosphere Rumours is definitely the place for you – any night of the week! Even when it gets a bit rowdy, it still entertains the sophisticated Seminyak crowd with it’s huge wine list, liquors and and dance tunes. I more often than not leave this place in good spirits! 😉

Motel Mexicola

A recently new bar to Petitenget, Seminyak, is the cool Motel Mexicola, and it’s all Mexican through out the venue. You’ll see Mexican decor, design and the menu – all Mexican and a drink list with every variety of tequila! In fact, there is such a big selection of the Mexicans’ favourite tipple, it’s probably best that you just see for yourself 🙂

As for the food, it is good, but for what you pay, the portions aren’t very big. Don’t be put off though, Mexicola is definitely a place to visit for the drinks and experience!

The latest to join Seminyak is Townhouse, which is a bar-bistro-lounge-gallery all in one! (Yes, you read that right – all this is housed under one exotic roof!) Created by Mark Baker, a 30 year aficionado of the New York nightlife scene, this super-sophisticated venue can cater for all your party needs in one go – from catching Seminyak’s spectacular sunset on the rooftop bar, to sampling bespoke cocktails and dancing to the tunes of international DJs in the Townhouse Lounge, inspired by NYC’s ‘The Double Seven’. Classy and cool, Townhouse is perfect for Seminyaks crowds.

Sea Circus

Whether you want breakfast, lunch, dinner or drinks, this vibrant little place, with its brightly coloured decor and welcoming vibe, is sure to deliver. A mixture of global cuisine, cooked with local ingredients, makes Sea Circus a little different from the rest.

Seminyak’s Most Popular Beach Clubs

Cocoon Beach Club

Beautiful white sandy beaches and crystal blue waters, it’s no wonder that Seminyak is so popular for sunbathing, chilling at sunset, and parties, and the best place to experience all of these is at one of it’s exclusive beach clubs. Opt for a lazy day on a sunbed watching the surfers on Seminyak Beach, take a dip in the infinity pool, sip a cocktail at sunset or party till dawn. You can do all three at one of these Seminyak Beach clubs…

Mozaic Beach Club

Recently, Batu Belig Beach was hit with a brand new concept from the famous Mozaic Beach Club – smart casual dining. Gazing out over Bali’s west coast, being served dishes from the exclusive a` la carte menu, why not try a bottle of wine from the huge wine list – which has won this beach club the Wine Spectator of Excellence award.

Potato Head Beach Club

Renowned for it’s exclusive cocktail list and some of the coolest parties in town is Potato Head. It’s not cheap, but people who come for a holiday, really don’t seem to mind! The only way to fully experience this famous beach club is to spend all day relaxing by the infinity pool, grabbing late snack from one of the clubs three restaurants and then indulging in one of the many cocktails on offer. We promise you won’t be disappointed!

Woo Bar

Probably the most famous night spot in Bali is WooBar, where you can spend the day sat on a large oval sun bed beside the al fresco bar or chilled out on a beanbag. During the week it’s happy hour drinks and complimentary tapas, and on a Friday, WooBar Sunset Sessions. If you’re not on the island when there’s a party going on, you won’t miss out on the classic chill out tunes that are always played at the WooBar.

Ku De Ta, Bali

With its awesome vibe and spectacular view of the ocean, Ku De Ta is a must visit for tourists of all ages. Known all over the world for it’s famous cuisine and fine dining, it also attracts tourists from all over the globe with it’s awesome events and parties. It’s another pricey venue but there’s no complaints as the service, food and general party atmosphere is well worth the splurge!

Cocoon Beach Club

Completely unwind in your own VIP cabana or chill out by Cocoon’s infinity pool, overlooking the golden sands of Seminyak. Or, if you prefer the sand under your toes, check out the fully serviced beachfront bales. And if you happen to be in Bali on the last Sunday of the month, you’ll probably want to go to one of the best parties on the island – ‘Splash’!
